You can expect that these players will perform but they have the tendency to disappear in some big games with surprising dips in form and less level. This was the main reason that they fell off late in 2020 but they still have tons of potential with this lineup. If they can find consistency, you can expect them to play in the World Series as the representative from the AL.
Most of their rivals in the AL have lost big names which is also one of the reasons why the Yankees are the clear top contenders from their division. These teams are the Tampa Bay Rays, Oakland Athletics and the Houston Astros which make the road to the World Series easier for the Yankees.
